Three houses, one family, rooted in Montafon.
Hotel Montafoner Hof doesn’t stand alone. There are a few more addresses that we run with heart: the Gasthof Löwen across the street, our mountain houses scattered throughout the Montafon mountains, and the décor & gift shop Schatulla in Schruns. All three are run by the Tschohl family, each has its own style and its own website.
Why do we do it this way? Because each house has its own strengths. Staying overnight in walls that are over 500 years old, a holiday in your own mountain house, browsing a small shop full of beautiful things. Take a look around.

Gasthof Löwen in Tschagguns
Inn culture, just as it has always been part of Montafon.
The “Leua” is located directly opposite the hotel, right in the village centre, and is where everything at Hotel Montafoner Hof began. Over 500 years old, family-owned for generations. Here you’ll find hearty, traditional cuisine, game from our own hunt, live folk music on Thursdays, and rooms to stay overnight. Just as popular with locals as with our guests: “Do kon d’Lüt zemma” – this is where people come together.

All one of a kind – our holiday homes between 850 and 1,650 metres.
Golmerhaus, Berghaus Bartholomäberg, Berghaus Gauertal, Waldhaus Rappakopf, Berghaus Manuaf and the Alte Schulhaus: independent houses, different locations, each with its own character. For families, friends, groups and anyone who prefers a completely private holiday. And if you don’t feel like cooking, just come to our restaurant at the hotel or head down to Gasthof Löwen in Tschagguns.
Our Schatulla in Schruns

“Schatulla” means jewellery box in the Montafon dialect – and that’s exactly what the shop at Bahnhofstraße 6 in Schruns looks like. A specialist store for “happy customers” with Bunzlau pottery, Maison Berger Paris, Izipizi glasses, jewellery, gift wrap and typical Montafon treats, packaged in an atypical way. Voted No. 1 among the country’s most beautiful décor shops by Antenne Vorarlberg. Take a little time: because a quick visit often turns into a longer chat here.
