We decorate the house as the seasons change, using local wood as well as herbs and spices from the garden - in many ways nature has shaped the house (and its character), and also the naturalness in our relationships with each other. We also offer apartments and whole mountain lodges – for a break of a few hours in between, for a business meeting or a special encounter with nature during your holiday.
All the houses are different, yet they share a common character: they are well rooted in the traditions of the Montafon.
So quaint and so rustic, just the way you would like to have it, with all the comforts.
What is a „ Maisäss“?
Maisäss is a Montafon May residence- an ensemble of huts / houses, located at an altitude ranging from 1200 to 1600 meters, in the woods … a kind of pasture hut from centuries ago, back when the farmers went up in May to manage the mountain pastures from here all summer long. A special feature of the cultural landscape of Montafon – and a special idea for our guests!
